Campgrounds near Morrow, Ohio
Morrow sits in Warren County along the Little Miami River, roughly 35 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati and within easy reach of Kings Island. The village is small, but the surrounding area holds a dense cluster of RV-friendly campgrounds tied to the river corridor, the Little Miami Scenic Trail, and the Kings Island entertainment area.
Closest to town, Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins offers primitive sites next to the river with picnic tables, fire grates, porta-potties scattered throughout, and a main bathroom and shower area by the office. Olive Branch Campground and the Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA Holiday give more traditional RV park options with hookups, while Camp Cedar, which officially became Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Cincinnati in 2026, is a full-service resort one mile from Kings Island in Mason.
For a public-land alternative, Stonelick State Park sits in Clermont County about 30 miles east of Cincinnati and wraps its campground around 200-acre Stonelick Lake, which is limited to electric motors only. Together these five properties cover primitive tent camping, KOA-style family sites, resort RV pads, and traditional state park loops.
Things to do near Morrow
The Little Miami Scenic Trail runs directly through Morrow and is the region's headline attraction, a paved multi-use path that follows the river for cycling, jogging, and stroller-friendly walks. Paddlers can put in for trips of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, or 18 miles on the Little Miami, ranging from an hour to a full day.
Families with kids usually build the trip around Kings Island amusement park and its Soak City waterpark in Mason, less than a mile from Camp Cedar. Fort Ancient Earthworks, a Hopewell site with an on-site museum and Indian mounds, sits just upriver.
At Stonelick State Park, 7 miles of hiking trails, a 500-foot swimming beach, and opportunities for fishing, hunting, and picnicking add variety, and a disc golf course and mountain bike trails round out the mix.

Peak camping season in southwest Ohio runs from late April through October. Morgan's Riverside operates seasonally from mid-April through October, and Stonelick is open April 1 through October 31, with a maximum RV length of 40 feet. River levels on the Little Miami are highest in spring, which is prime for paddling but can also produce high-water closures.
Summer weekends fill quickly, particularly at Camp Cedar and the Lebanon KOA, driven by Kings Island traffic and the park's seasonal events. Book several weeks out for any Friday or Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
From November 1 to March 31, Stonelick campsites remain available to reserve, but all Ohio State Parks are required to be winterized by November 1 to prevent frost and ice damage, so facilities and the number of sites are limited. Fall shoulder weeks in September and early October are the quietest time to visit with reliable weather.

Highly recommend 15/10 rating here. Clean and ready to go upon the agreed time and extremely flexible for my rental return considering I hit a traffic jam for 4 hours. Will be renting again from him alone when my personal goes down.
