Campgrounds and RV parks near Mount Repose, OH

Mount Repose sits in Clermont County in southwest Ohio, roughly a half-hour east of downtown Cincinnati. The area gives RV travelers quick access to two Ohio state parks, a large Army Corps reservoir, the Little Miami Scenic River corridor, and the Kings Island entertainment area to the north. Most drives to a campground from Mount Repose fall inside 30 minutes. Stonelick State Park is the closest state-park option, wrapping around a lake limited to electric motors, which keeps the water quiet for paddling and fishing. East Fork State Park is one of Ohio's largest state parks, encompassing 4,870 acres of land surrounding the 2,160-acre Harsha Lake, and the lake allows unlimited-horsepower boating. Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins sits along the Little Miami River in Morrow, north of Mount Repose, and pairs riverfront sites with an on-site canoe and kayak livery. For full-hookup RV travelers, Camp Cedar RV Resort in Mason offers concrete pads and cottages near Kings Island, and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage provides a smaller private-park option in the region.

Ohio state-park sites at Stonelick and East Fork must be reserved in advance, online or by phone up to 6 months out, or booked at the camp store during open hours. The campground offers both reservation and first-come, first-served options, so a limited number of walk-up sites remain for spontaneous trips. Camp Cedar RV Resort books directly through the resort, which operates year-round and coordinates with the Kings Island calendar including Haunt and WinterFest. Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage book directly with the operator. For summer weekends, holidays, and any weekend overlapping a Kings Island event, secure a site well in advance. Standard state-park stay limits cap trips at two weeks in any 30-day period.
