Campgrounds and RV parks near New Baltimore, OH

New Baltimore sits in southwest Ohio along the Great Miami River, about 20 miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati and within easy reach of Butler, Hamilton, and Preble county parks. RV travelers use the area as a base for Cincinnati attractions, Great Miami River recreation, and the wooded state parks north of the city. Interstates 74, 275, and 75 all meet within a short drive, keeping route planning straightforward. Campground options range from full-hookup RV parks close to the city to state park loops set in mature forest. Tuckers Landing RV Park and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage offer hookup-ready sites suited to larger rigs, while Cincinnati Campsites and Indian Springs Campground LLP sit closer in for shorter stays. For a state park experience, Horsemans Camp - Hueston Woods State Park lies about an hour north near Acton Lake, inside a nearly 3,000-acre park with an old-growth beech-maple forest. Most parks in the region operate year-round or on a long spring-to-fall season, with peak demand from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Ohio State Park campgrounds, including Hueston Woods and its Horsemans Camp, use the state's central reservation system. Sites can be reserved online through ReserveOhio or by calling (866) 644-6727, and the booking window opens up to six months in advance. Loops A and B at Hueston Woods hold the full-hookup and electric sites and tend to book first for summer weekends. Private parks in the area, including Cincinnati Campsites, Indian Springs Campground LLP, Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage, and Tuckers Landing RV Park, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. For summer weekends and major events, book six to eight weeks out. Shoulder-season midweek stays are usually easier to secure on shorter notice.
