For a true state-park experience, Punderson State Park sits in Newbury Township about 45 minutes east of Cleveland and anchors one of Ohio's finest glacial lake landscapes, with the state's largest natural lake and dense beech-maple forests, plus year-round recreation including winter sports.

Weekend and holiday sites fill quickly, so booking well ahead is advised. Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA Holiday requires 7 days of cancellation notice for RV and tent sites and 14 days for lodging and accommodations. Holiday weekends require a 2-week cancellation notice. Roundup Lake RV Park and Woodside Lake Park both accept reservations through Campspot as well as directly by phone. Both parks carry a large share of seasonal campers, so short-term sites are limited on summer weekends: book weeks in advance for peak dates. Minimum-night rules commonly apply on holiday weekends.
