Campgrounds and RV parks near Roseville, OH

Roseville sits on the border of Muskingum and Perry counties in southeast Ohio, roughly fifteen minutes south of Zanesville. The village is surrounded by the wooded hills and small lakes typical of the region, which puts a mix of private RV parks and Ohio state park campgrounds within an easy drive. Close-in options include Perry Backwoods Campgrounds and Wolfies Campground, both small private operations, plus National Road Campground closer to the Interstate 70 corridor. For a bigger-lake setting, Dillon State Park lies northwest of Roseville on Dillon Lake, and Main - Burr Oak State Park sits to the south near Glouster. Most sites in the area suit travel-trailer and Class C rigs. State park campgrounds offer a range of primitive, electric, and full-service sites, each with a parking pad, picnic table, and fire ring, while private parks in the region often add full hookups, playgrounds, and pools better suited to families with children.

Ohio state parks, including Dillon State Park and Main - Burr Oak State Park, take reservations through ReserveOhio, and campsite bookings open six months prior to the desired arrival date. Sites can be booked online at reserveohio.com or by calling the central reservation line. Reservations are required for all state park campsites. Private campgrounds such as Perry Backwoods Campgrounds, National Road Campground, and Wolfies Campground book directly through the campground office, by phone, or through their own websites. Holiday weekends around Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day should be reserved as early as possible. The minimum stay for regular weekend reservations is two nights, and Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends require a three-night minimum. When booking, confirm site length, hookup type, and any pet or extra-vehicle rules before arrival.
