Campgrounds near South Lebanon, Ohio
South Lebanon sits in Warren County along the Little Miami River, roughly 30 minutes north of Cincinnati and a short drive from Kings Island amusement park in Mason. The area draws RV travelers with a mix of private resorts, riverside primitive sites, and a nearby Ohio state park, making it a practical base for families combining theme-park days with paddling or bike-trail rides.
Within about fifteen minutes of town, Camp Cedar RV Resort (now operating as Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Cincinnati) offers full-hookup sites one mile from Kings Island, and Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA Holiday provides a more conventional franchise-campground experience. Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins sits directly on the Little Miami between Oregonia and Morrow, while Olive Branch Campground fronts the corridor near I-71 Exit 36.
For a public-lands option, Stonelick State Park lies about 25 minutes southeast in Clermont County, with electric sites, a lake, and reservations handled through Ohio's state system.
Things to do near South Lebanon
Kings Island is the anchor attraction, with roller coasters and Soak City waterpark just up the road in Mason. The Little Miami Scenic Trail runs through the corridor and links directly to several campgrounds, giving RV families miles of paved biking and walking without loading bikes on the car.
The Little Miami River itself is a designated State and National Scenic River with easy Class I paddling, swimming holes, and smallmouth fishing. Rentals for canoes, kayaks, and tubes are available from local liveries. Stonelick Lake supports kayaking, fishing, and a small beach.
History stops include Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve, and the town of Lebanon has antique shops and the Warren County Historical Society museum.

The core RV season runs from mid-April through October, matching Kings Island's operating calendar and the schedule of most private campgrounds along the river. Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins historically operates in the warm-weather months, and Olive Branch Campground runs a similar April to October season. Summer weekends around Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day book heavily, and sites near Kings Island can fill weeks in advance.
Spring brings the greenest scenery and the best paddling flows, but river levels can spike after storms and low riverside sites occasionally flood after heavy rain. Fall weekends are quieter and cooler, with Halloween-themed campouts common at state and private parks.
Winter is limited. Stonelick State Park remains open for reservations from November through March, but the park is winterized by November 1, so the shower house closes and water access is restricted. Most private RV parks reduce services or close entirely.

Highly recommend 15/10 rating here. Clean and ready to go upon the agreed time and extremely flexible for my rental return considering I hit a traffic jam for 4 hours. Will be renting again from him alone when my personal goes down.

How to book campgrounds near South Lebanon
Stonelick State Park uses the ReserveOhio system, with online booking at reserveohio.com or by phone at 866-644-6727. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance, and premium lakeside electric sites are the first to sell out for summer weekends. Walk-in sites are no longer offered; last-minute stays require a reservation made through the camp store when it is open.
Private parks near Kings Island manage their own reservations. Camp Cedar RV Resort books through its own website using the NewBook system and sells discounted park tickets bundled with stays. Olive Branch Campground and Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA Holiday books through koa.com.
For holiday weekends and dates aligned with Kings Island events, book two to three months out.
What to expect on the ground
Sites near Kings Island tend toward resort-style layouts: paved or concrete pads, full hookups, tight spacing, and limited mature shade at newer parks. Camp Cedar RV Resort is a recently built property with two pools and a shuttle to Kings Island; reviewers consistently note the convenience but also close site spacing and audible road noise from I-71 and Kings Mills Road.
Riverside options run more rustic. Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins is primitive, with picnic tables, fire rings, porta-potties, and a central bathhouse; sites vary from small tent pads to large group areas, and some sit directly on the water. Olive Branch Campground offers wooded sites with hookups, a pool, and a fishing pond.
Stonelick State Park has paved pads, a mix of electric and non-electric sites, and a dump station. Bring leveling blocks; pads at several area campgrounds are noted as uneven.
