Wilberforce sits in Greene County in western Ohio, within a short drive of Yellow Springs, Xenia, Springfield, and Dayton. Private options within roughly a half-hour drive include Enon Beach Campground toward Springfield, Sky Lake RV Resort and Campground (also listed as Sky Lake RV Resort) on Crabill Road, and Frontier Campground in Waynesville along the Little Miami Scenic Trail.

Things to do near Wilberforce
Hiking and paddling anchor most trips. John Bryan State Park is distinguished by its limestone gorge, cut by the Little Miami State and National Scenic River. The gorge is a National Natural Landmark with views from the trail, a paddlecraft launch area outside the park provides access to the river, and the park also has a rock climbing and rappelling area plus hiking and mountain bike trails. Adjacent Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve adds more trail miles.
The Little Miami Scenic Trail runs through the area for cycling and walking, with Frontier Campground located near the corridor outside Waynesville. Sky Lake RV Resort and Campground offers lake and river frontage, and Enon Beach Campground has a swimming lake and stocked fishing.
For rainy days, the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton is roughly 30 minutes away and is a common day trip from all four campgrounds.
