Campgrounds and RV parks near Williamsdale, OH

Williamsdale sits in Butler County in southwest Ohio, about a half-hour drive north of Cincinnati and roughly 20 miles south of Hueston Woods State Park near the Indiana border. The location gives RV travelers quick access to both a major metro area and one of the region's largest forested state parks, along with private RV parks along the corridor. Options close to town include Off The Hook Campground and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage, both convenient for travelers who want hookups without a long drive off the highway. Cincinnati Campsites offers a base for visitors focused on the city, its zoo, and its river attractions. For state-park camping, Hueston Woods surrounds the 625-acre Acton Lake and offers more than 200 electric sites, including about 20 with full hookups, plus more than 100 non-electric sites across several loops. A separate Horsemans Camp - Hueston Woods State Park serves riders bringing stock, while Area 3/4 - Hueston Woods State Park covers non-electric loops for campers who want a more primitive stay under the beech-maple canopy.

Ohio State Parks sites, including all Hueston Woods loops and the equestrian camp, are reserved through ReserveOhio at reserveohio.com or by phone at (866) 644-6727. Reservations open up to six months in advance, and a user account is required before booking. Sites release at 7 a.m. Eastern Time on the six-month date, and summer weekends in the electric and full-hookup loops often sell out shortly after. Private campgrounds in the area, such as Off The Hook Campground, Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage, and Cincinnati Campsites, are booked directly through each operator's website or phone line. For sold-out state-park dates, cancellation-alert services can flag freed sites, and the Hueston Woods campground check-in station at (513) 523-1060 can help with same-day questions.
