Campgrounds and RV parks near Durham, OR

Durham sits in Washington County between Tigard and Tualatin, just off Highway 99W and minutes from Interstate 5. The location puts RV travelers within easy reach of downtown Portland to the north, the Willamette Valley wine country to the south, and the Tualatin River corridor that runs through the area. Most nearby campgrounds are private RV parks built for road-trippers and longer-stay guests, with a handful of state and county options within a 30 to 45 minute drive. The closest full-service option is Roamers Rest RV Park LLC in Tualatin, located on the Tualatin River along Pacific Highway. A short drive south on I-5 leads to Sun Outdoors Portland South in Wilsonville, formerly Pheasant Ridge RV Resort. Further south near St. Paul, Champoeg State Heritage Area provides a state park setting along the Willamette River. Riverside RV Park and Columbia River RV Park round out the regional options for travelers willing to drive a little farther. Most parks in this corridor stay open year-round, though some state park loops close seasonally.

Champoeg State Heritage Area is run by Oregon Parks and Recreation and uses the state's reservation system. Reservations are accepted up to 6 months in advance via Oregon State Parks, and reservations are required for yurts and cabins. Some sites may be available only from the campground on a first-come-first-served basis, but availability is unreliable in summer. Private parks handle their own bookings. Roamers Rest RV Park LLC accepts reservations by phone or through its website. Sun Outdoors Portland South takes reservations online and by phone, with deposits commonly required for longer stays. Riverside RV Park and Columbia River RV Park each manage reservations directly. For RV renters, confirm site length, hookup amperage, and any park rules on rig age or appearance before booking. Several private parks in the area have specific cosmetic or age policies for monthly stays.
