Campgrounds and RV parks near Rivergrove, OR

Rivergrove is a small city in Clackamas County, Oregon, with a portion extending into Washington County, sitting along the Tualatin River near Lake Oswego. The city is part of the Portland metro area, which puts RV travelers within a short drive of full-service parks, a large state heritage campground, and the wine country of the Willamette Valley. Closest urban RV options sit just south in Tualatin and Wilsonville. Roamers Rest RV Park LLC in Tualatin and Sun Outdoors Portland South in Wilsonville are the nearest full-hookup parks. Riverside RV Park rounds out the close-in choices for travelers who want paved pads and full hookups without a long commute into Portland. For a more traditional state-park experience, Champoeg State Heritage Area sits south of Newberg along the Willamette River, on the site where pioneers voted to form Oregon's first provisional government in 1843. Columbia River RV Park, north in Portland, offers a base closer to PDX airport and the Columbia River Gorge.

State-park sites and private RV parks use different systems, so plan for both. Reservations at Champoeg are handled through the Oregon State Parks reservation system, operated on the ReserveAmerica platform, and can be booked up to six months in advance. The campground accommodates RVs up to 80 feet, with full-hookup and electric-and-water sites, hot showers, restrooms, and a dump station. Group sites are set apart from the main campground and each accommodates up to 25 people and six vehicles, with water and electricity but no RV hookups. Private parks such as Sun Outdoors Portland South, Roamers Rest RV Park LLC, Riverside RV Park, and Columbia River RV Park book directly through their own websites or third-party platforms. For summer weekends and holidays, secure sites several weeks ahead.
