Campgrounds and RV parks near The Cliffs Valley, SC

The Cliffs Valley sits in the Blue Ridge foothills of northern Greenville County, South Carolina, just south of the North Carolina state line and a short drive from Travelers Rest. The area puts RV travelers within reach of two major public land systems: South Carolina's Mountain Bridge Wilderness (Caesars Head and Jones Gap State Parks) to the immediate west, and the Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Recreational Forest across the line in North Carolina. Private RV parks handle most overnight rigs. The Travelers Rest / N Greenville KOA Holiday sits in the foothills between Greenville and Asheville, with RV sites, cabins, and covered wagons tucked along Johnson Creek. Additional nearby options include Orchard Lake Campground, Town Mountain Travel Park, Park Place RV Park, and Lakewood RV Resort, which spread out across the Upstate SC and adjacent western NC corridor. Most trips base at a full-hookup private park and day-trip into the state parks, which lean toward hike-in and tent camping rather than large RV accommodation.

Private RV parks near The Cliffs Valley are booked directly through the operator. KOA sites, including Travelers Rest / N Greenville KOA Holiday, reserve through the KOA website or app, with KOA Rewards members receiving discounted nightly rates. Independent parks such as Orchard Lake Campground, Town Mountain Travel Park, Park Place RV Park, and Lakewood RV Resort typically take reservations by phone or through their own websites. South Carolina State Parks, including Caesars Head, Jones Gap, and Table Rock, use the SouthCarolinaParks.com reservation system. The window opens up to 13 months in advance, and popular fall color weekends and spring holidays often fill quickly, so booking as early as the window allows is wise.
