Campgrounds and RV parks near Bradford, TN

Bradford is a small town in Gibson County in northwest Tennessee, roughly halfway between Jackson and Union City on the flat, agricultural terrain of the West Tennessee plain. RV travelers use Bradford as a quiet base between two much larger draws: Reelfoot Lake to the northwest and Natchez Trace State Park to the south, both within about an hour's drive. Close-in options lean toward small private parks with full hookups rather than resort-style destinations. Carroll County Thousand Acre Recreation Lake, about 30 minutes east near Huntingdon, offers 30 and 50-amp electrical connections, water hookups, and a dump station, and it sits on the largest man-made lake in West Tennessee, with more than 22 miles of shoreline. Jackson RV Park, Coyote View RV Park and RV Repair, Union City RV Park, and Parkway Village MH and RV Community round out the nearby choices for travelers who want simple, level sites with utilities. Many travelers split their trip between a hookup park near Bradford and a state park stay at Reelfoot or Natchez Trace, which trade amenities for scenery and programming.

Two reservation paths cover most of the region. Tennessee State Parks handles Reelfoot Lake and Natchez Trace directly through its online portal. Advanced reservations may be made up to 1 year in advance, with a non-refundable $5 advanced reservation fee per campsite, and most campsites require a minimum 2-night stay. Cancellations made within 2 days of arrival forfeit at least the first night, so lock in dates carefully. At Natchez Trace, individual loops occasionally close for maintenance or upgrades, so confirm site status on the park page before booking. Private parks like Jackson RV Park, Coyote View RV Park and RV Repair, Union City RV Park, and Parkway Village MH and RV Community typically book directly by phone or through the operator's website, with shorter lead times than state parks.
