Copper Breaks State Park is the main draw. The park protects rugged canyons and grass-covered mesas, with trails open to hiking and mountain biking, a 60-acre no-wake lake for kayaks and small fishing boats, and a 3.8-mile equestrian trail. Members of the Official State of Texas Longhorn Herd live in the south pasture near the park entrance. The park is an International Dark Sky Park, with monthly star parties held April through November and other night sky programs across the year. Bring a kayak, canoe, or small fishing boat for Lake Copper Breaks, which has a small boat ramp.
