Campgrounds and RV parks near Provo, UT

Utah Lake is the main draw for water recreation. The state park offers fishing for channel catfish, walleye, white bass, black bass, and panfish, with an average summer water temperature around 75 degrees that supports swimming, boating, and paddleboarding. The park has boat ramps, a marina, courtesy docks, and a swim beach. Provo Canyon opens up hiking, fishing, and cycling east of the city, with Blue Ribbon trout water on the Provo River plus tubing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and access to Sundance Mountain Resort.
