Campgrounds and RV parks near Marbleton, WY

Marbleton sits in Sublette County along Highway 189 in the upper Green River valley of western Wyoming, with the Wyoming Range rising to the west and the Wind River Range visible to the northeast. The town is adjacent to Big Piney and serves as a practical base for RV travelers exploring the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the Green River fishery, and the Wind River wilderness. Pinedale, roughly a half-hour drive north, provides the closest full-service resupply, groceries, and fuel. RV travelers have several private options in and around town. Marbleton RV Park sits within Marbleton itself. Mountain Bluebird RV Park is another close-in option in the Marbleton and Big Piney area. Yellowstone Trail RV Park offers full hookups and pull-through sites for travelers passing through the upper Green River corridor. Highline Trail RV Park LLC and Rim Station round out the closest options for travelers who want full amenities before heading into more primitive Forest Service ground. Big Piney provides basic services next door, but selection is limited, so plan longer resupplies in Pinedale or Rock Springs.

Federal campgrounds in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, including Fremont Lake, are reserved through Recreation.gov. Reservations open up to six months in advance, and for peak-season summer weekends sites often go quickly once the window opens. A handful of smaller Forest Service sites in the Pinedale Ranger District remain first-come, first-served, and some Fremont Lake sites use a scan-and-pay system that can only be booked once on site. Private RV parks near Marbleton, including Marbleton RV Park, Mountain Bluebird RV Park, Yellowstone Trail RV Park, Highline Trail RV Park LLC, and Rim Station, take direct bookings through their own websites or phone lines. Book private hookup sites several weeks ahead for July and August, and earlier if traveling with a larger rig that needs a pull-through.
