We had rented a van to travel in, but due to issues with the van we were changed to an RV (that was all they had) at the last minute. Due to it being around Christmas time we had to go with what was offered. I will say 4 1/2 stars for Dave from GoHomePort Rentals. He was fantastic with communication and was the saving grace of the trip. There was one hiccup, but we were able to get past it. As for the RV, it served it's purpose, but not want we wanted to go with. The ad did say the RV was pet friendly, so be ready for the presence of animals. I am highly allergic, but will say that I did not have any issues. There were several things that appeared to need some attention. Again, Dave was great, but our RV experience was not the greatest. Grateful for the host and the opportunity. We succeeded our goal to see all of Route 66 and this RV was a lovely home away from home.
