Anthony’s 12’ GeoPro trailer was a great rental experience. It was easy to connect and disconnect, which made pickup and drop-off simple and stress-free. The trailer had everything we needed, including a table, chairs, bedding, cookware, cutlery, and place settings. The kitchen was a huge bonus and made the trip much more comfortable. Overall, it was well-equipped, easy to use, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I took my 16 year old son and 2 adult friends to there first NFL game and to watch our Oilers in Seattle in late November. Dave's RV was the perfect accommodation for the 3 days! What was awesome was the communication with Dave prior to the rental. He answered all questions and concerns in a timely fashion. In this day and age where customer service seems to be almost no existent Dave went above and beyond. Dave went through the pre trip check with me and my son and that interaction showed he cared about us having a positive experience. With any type of rental things could go wrong, nothing did for us, but I felt reassured Dave would be there if anything did, peace of mind! RV was just what we needed for this trip. Thanks again Dave!!

Mark was a wonderful host. This was our first time traveling by RV and he was extremely patient and accommodating with all of our questions. The RV was clean when we picked it up, stocked with household items, such as; dishes, utensils, hand soap and toilet paper. The RV is spacious and comfortable and was the perfect "house on wheels" to travel in. We needed something that would get us up north fast because of an extremely ill family member, and this made our road time so much shorter than having to stop and get a hotel. We would highly recommend Mark as a host and would rent his RV again!

Chris was really great to work with! He's very personable, responsive, helpful, and flexible. He was willing to move around our pick-up to better suit our needs, within his abilities. This was greatly appreciated. He offered to give us a ride to the light rail after returning the RV. And he had great suggestions for us during our trip that helped save us time and money. We had a great time on our first RV adventure in his RV, "Miles of Smiles". Vehicle AC is being fixed, it didn't bother us. Camper AC worked great on the generator or electric hookup. We couldn't get the shower water heater to work, but we preferred the campground showers anyways. Everything else worked great on the RV. Lots of fridge/freezer space. Stove and microwave worked well as well as the propane grill if you encounter a burn ban. LOVED the Space you got with the slide out, the awning was really fun, the bunk above the cab was loved by our kids, the TV/DVD was needed at the end of a long day!, and all the storage was excellent. This was very comfortable and enjoyable ride for our 4 day adventure in Olympic and the North Cascades! Thanks so much Chris. We appreciate you!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Alderwood Manor, WA

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Alderwood Manor, WA?

RV rental in Alderwood Manor is often more affordable than a hotel stay in the Seattle metro area. Travel trailers typically run $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes range from $175 to $275 per night, and larger Class A rigs sit around $250 to $400 per night. Summer (June through August) is peak season, so you can often save by booking a shoulder-season trip in May or September when the Cascades are still beautiful. For a cheap RV rental in Alderwood Manor, filter by travel trailers and look for hosts offering weekly discounts. Pro tip: weekday pickups often unlock lower rates than Friday departures, since most local renters head out for the weekend.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Alderwood Manor?

Good news: your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Alderwood Manor. Washington State does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or special endorsement for personal-use motorhomes or travel trailers under 26,000 pounds, which covers virtually every rig on RVezy. RVezy approved drivers are generally required to be at least 25 years old, and ID verification happens quickly through the RVezy platform during booking. Visiting from outside the US? Bring your home-country license along with an International Driving Permit (IDP). Your host will walk you through the rig at pickup so you feel road-ready before you leave the driveway.

What if I need to cancel my Alderwood Manor RV rental?

Booking is low-risk because RVezy sets the cancellation policy (not the host), so you don't need to compare different rules between hosts in Alderwood Manor, Lynnwood, or Bothell. Your refund depends on factors like how far out you are from your trip start date and the specific policy tier applied to your booking. If a host cancels on you, RVezy will help you with a refund or rebooking credit. If something unexpected comes up, reach out to RVezy support before your trip start and they'll walk you through your options. Knowing flexibility is built in makes it easy to lock in your dates early.

Can I bring my dog on an RV trip from Alderwood Manor?

Absolutely, and the Pacific Northwest is one of the most dog-loving regions in the country. Plenty of hosts offer pet-friendly RV rental in Alderwood Manor, and you can filter listings using the Pet-Friendly toggle to see options instantly. Once you're on the road, your pup will love places like Marymoor Park in Redmond (home to one of the largest off-leash areas in the country), the beaches at Edmonds, and the dog-welcoming trails at Lord Hill Regional Park just up the road in Snohomish. Most Washington State Parks allow leashed dogs in campgrounds, including nearby Wenberg County Park on Lake Goodwin. Pro tip: message the host before booking to ask about pet fees and any breed or size notes so check-in is smooth.

Can the RV be delivered to me in Alderwood Manor?

Yes, RV delivery in Alderwood Manor is one of the best ways to start your trip stress-free, especially if you're new to driving a big rig. Many local hosts will deliver and set up your motorhome or travel trailer at your campground, your driveway, or a nearby launch point like Wenberg County Park or Kayak Point. They'll handle leveling, hookups, and give you a full walkthrough of the systems, so you can skip the learning curve and jump straight into vacation mode. Delivery fees vary by distance, with many hosts offering free delivery within a set radius and a per-mile rate beyond that. Use the Delivery filter when browsing listings to see who offers it.

How far can I drive on my Alderwood Manor RV trip?

You'll cover serious ground from Alderwood Manor since it sits right off Interstate 5, the main north-south artery of the Pacific Northwest. Many hosts offer generous daily mileage allowances (typically 100 to 150 miles per day), and some offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is perfect for longer Cascade or Olympic loops. From here, Mount Rainier National Park is roughly 130 miles south, Olympic National Park's Hurricane Ridge is around 90 to 100 miles west via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry, and North Cascades National Park is about 110 miles northeast. Mileage policies show clearly on each listing, so you can pick a rig that matches your route. Pro tip: if you're planning a long Washington loop, message hosts to ask about a custom mileage package.

Where are the best campgrounds near Alderwood Manor?

You're spoiled for choice with great campgrounds near Alderwood Manor, all within about an hour's drive. Wenberg County Park on Lake Goodwin (about 25 miles north) offers RV sites with hookups and a swimming beach. Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell (just a few miles away) is a full-service park ideal for first-timers. Kayak Point Regional County Park near Stanwood sits on Puget Sound with stunning sunset views and yurts if family wants to join. For a wilder vibe, Flowing Lake County Park in Snohomish has lakefront sites and trails. Pro tip: Washington State Parks reservations open nine months in advance, so book early for summer weekends.

When is the best time for an Alderwood Manor RV trip?

Late June through early September is the sweet spot for RV camping in Alderwood Manor, when daytime highs sit comfortably in the 70s and rainfall drops to just a couple inches per month. This is when the Cascades open up, ferries to the San Juan Islands run frequently, and Mount Rainier's wildflower meadows peak in late July and early August. Shoulder seasons (May and September) deliver fewer crowds, lower rates, and still-pleasant temperatures in the mid-60s. Winter trips are doable thanks to the area's mild lowland climate, but expect frequent rain and shorter days. Pro tip: book July and August trips at least two to three months out, since both RVs and campground spots fill quickly across the Puget Sound region.

I've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay?

You've got this, and Alderwood Manor is a great starting point for first time renting an RV. Every RVezy host gives you a hands-on orientation at pickup, walking you through driving tips, hookups, the propane system, slide-outs, and waste tanks. You can also message your host anytime during your trip with questions. For your first drive, head north on I-5 toward less-trafficked county roads near Stanwood rather than tackling downtown Seattle. If big-rig driving feels intimidating, choose a Class B campervan or smaller travel trailer, or book a host who offers delivery so the rig arrives set up and ready. Pro tip: do a slow loop of an empty parking lot before hitting the highway to get a feel for turns and braking.

What happens if something breaks down during my trip?

You're never alone on the road: every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, so help is one phone call away whether you're in Alderwood Manor, on Stevens Pass, or deep in the Olympic Peninsula. Roadside assistance covers common issues like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing. Your host is also a great first contact for quirks specific to their rig (like how the awning latches or where the spare propane key lives). Pro tip: before leaving the driveway, save both the RVezy support number and your host's number in your phone, and take a photo of the rig's plate and VIN. That two-minute step makes any call go faster.

Can I drive my Alderwood Manor RV rental into Canada or other states?

Yes, cross-border and interstate road trips are popular from Alderwood Manor since you're only about 110 miles from the Peace Arch border crossing into British Columbia. Many hosts allow trips into Canada and neighboring states like Oregon and Idaho, but confirm directly with your host before booking since insurance and protection coverage need to extend across the border. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals. Popular routes from Alderwood Manor include the I-5 run to Vancouver BC (about 3 hours), the Oregon Coast loop, and the eastern Washington wine country swing through Walla Walla. Pro tip: message the host directly from the listing to confirm cross-border allowance before you book.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validity

What kind of fuel mileage and budget should I plan for?

Realistic fuel planning makes any Alderwood Manor RV trip more enjoyable. Class C motorhomes typically average 8 to 12 mpg, Class A rigs come in around 6 to 10 mpg, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle (often 10 to 14 mpg combined). Washington gas prices tend to run higher than the national average, so check current pump prices when budgeting and plan slightly more for diesel. For a typical week-long loop covering 600 miles in a Class C, expect roughly $250 to $400 in fuel based on recent prices. Pro tip: Costco in Lynnwood (just a couple of miles from Alderwood Manor) consistently has some of the lowest fuel prices in the area, and most Class C rigs fit the lanes just fine.

How far in advance should I book a campground around Alderwood Manor?

Book early to lock in the best spots, especially for summer. Washington State Parks (including popular ones like Deception Pass, about 60 miles north) open reservations nine months in advance through their official reservation portal, and prime weekends sell out within hours. Snohomish County Parks like Wenberg and Kayak Point also book up fast for June through August. For private RV parks like Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell, three to six weeks ahead is usually enough except on holiday weekends. Pro tip: set a calendar reminder for the nine-month mark if you're targeting a Saturday in July at a Washington State Park, and have backup dates ready. Midweek arrivals are dramatically easier to book if your schedule allows.
washington.goingtocamp.com/

What are the local driving conditions like around Alderwood Manor?

Alderwood Manor sits right next to I-5, I-405, and Highway 99, so you'll have easy freeway access in any direction. Expect typical Seattle-metro congestion during weekday rush hours (roughly 7 to 9 am and 3 to 7 pm), so plan to leave town mid-morning or after 7 pm for a smoother start. Once you're past Everett heading north or past Bellevue heading east, traffic eases dramatically. Mountain passes like Stevens Pass (US 2) and Snoqualmie Pass (I-90) are well-maintained but can require traction tires or chains from November through March. Lowland roads stay clear most of the year. Pro tip: download the WSDOT app to check live pass conditions and traffic cameras before heading into the Cascades.
wsdot.wa.gov/travel/real-time/mountainpasses

What amenities should I expect at campgrounds near Alderwood Manor?

Most developed campgrounds around Alderwood Manor offer a solid amenity mix. Full-hookup parks like Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell provide water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electrical at every site, plus Wi-Fi and laundry. Snohomish County Parks like Wenberg and Kayak Point typically offer water and electric hookups but not sewer (a dump station is on-site). Washington State Parks generally include water and electric at standard RV sites, with central dump stations and clean restrooms with showers. For filling fresh water and dumping tanks on travel days, there's a public dump station at Smokey Point Rest Area on I-5 about 15 miles north. Pro tip: pack a 25-foot drinking-water hose and a sewer hose support, since site layouts vary.
parks.wa.gov/find-parks/state-parks

What features and equipment come standard in Alderwood Manor RV rentals?

Local rentals come well-equipped for Pacific Northwest adventures. Expect a fully functional kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), bathroom with toilet and shower, sleeping for anywhere from 2 to 10 depending on the rig, climate control, and seatbelts for travel passengers. Class C and Class A motorhomes usually include a generator for off-grid power, while travel trailers rely on shore power or battery. Many rigs include outdoor speakers, awnings, leveling jacks, and basic kitchen kits (pots, pans, dishes). Wi-Fi and satellite TV are hit or miss, so confirm in the listing if those matter. Pro tip: when you message a host about a motorhome rental in Alderwood Manor, ask if they include a starter kit with linens and towels, which saves you a trip to Target in Lynnwood.
experiencewa.com/

What add-ons and pickup options are available for Alderwood Manor rentals?

Hosts in the Alderwood Manor area offer a great mix of add-ons that turn a standard rental into a curated trip. Popular options include linen and towel packages ($30 to $75), camp chairs and outdoor rugs ($15 to $40), generators on travel trailers ($50 to $100), bike racks, kayaks, BBQs, and full kitchen kits. Pickup and dropoff are typically scheduled directly with your host, often at their home or a nearby lot. Mileage policies are set per listing (commonly 100 miles per day included, with overage at $0.30 to $0.45 per mile), and some hosts offer unlimited mileage for longer trips. Pro tip: book add-ons during the initial reservation rather than at pickup, since hosts have limited inventory and popular gear like kayaks goes fast in summer.

How do payment and security deposits work on RVezy?

Payment is handled through the RVezy platform, never directly to the host, so your card details stay protected. You'll pay the rental total at booking (including the protection plan you choose), and a refundable security deposit is placed on hold separately before your trip starts. Deposit amounts vary by rig but typically range from $500 to $1,500 depending on size and value. As long as the RV comes back in the same condition you got it, the deposit is released after your trip wraps up. Pro tip: do a quick walkaround video with the host at pickup and again at dropoff (lights on, slides out, exterior all sides) so there's clear documentation that the rig went out and came back in great shape.

Where can I park or stop overnight in Washington on my road trip from Alderwood Manor?

You've got solid overnight options on any RV road trip from Alderwood Manor. Washington State Rest Areas allow you to park up to 8 hours within a 24-hour period, which is perfect for breaking up longer drives (just stay inside the RV, since full camping setups like slide-outs and chairs aren't allowed). Some Walmart and Cabela's locations along I-5 and I-90 permit overnight RV parking with manager permission. For a more relaxed stay, Harvest Hosts members can overnight at participating wineries and farms in the Skagit and Yakima valleys. Pro tip: the Smokey Point Rest Area on I-5 northbound is one of the cleanest in the state and has a dump station, making it a great mid-route stop.
