2022 Leisure Travel Vans Class C
We rented ‘Seraphina’ for our trip through Olympic National Park and Leavenworth in the North Cascades. We loved it! We’re not big campers, but with this Sprinter-based camper van, we had all the comfort of a tiny home on wheels. The van is set up so that everything is well organized and turnkey for traveling from campground to campground with ease and comfort. It is well supplied and outfitted to set up a comfortable and cozy campsite in minutes. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept really well in it. Priscila gave us a great walkthrough at the first handoff and was communicative and there for us to answer questions along the way. We would rent this rig from her again!

Anthony’s 12’ GeoPro trailer was a great rental experience. It was easy to connect and disconnect, which made pickup and drop-off simple and stress-free. The trailer had everything we needed, including a table, chairs, bedding, cookware, cutlery, and place settings. The kitchen was a huge bonus and made the trip much more comfortable. Overall, it was well-equipped, easy to use, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I took my 16 year old son and 2 adult friends to there first NFL game and to watch our Oilers in Seattle in late November. Dave's RV was the perfect accommodation for the 3 days! What was awesome was the communication with Dave prior to the rental. He answered all questions and concerns in a timely fashion. In this day and age where customer service seems to be almost no existent Dave went above and beyond. Dave went through the pre trip check with me and my son and that interaction showed he cared about us having a positive experience. With any type of rental things could go wrong, nothing did for us, but I felt reassured Dave would be there if anything did, peace of mind! RV was just what we needed for this trip. Thanks again Dave!!

Mark was a wonderful host. This was our first time traveling by RV and he was extremely patient and accommodating with all of our questions. The RV was clean when we picked it up, stocked with household items, such as; dishes, utensils, hand soap and toilet paper. The RV is spacious and comfortable and was the perfect "house on wheels" to travel in. We needed something that would get us up north fast because of an extremely ill family member, and this made our road time so much shorter than having to stop and get a hotel. We would highly recommend Mark as a host and would rent his RV again!

Chris was really great to work with! He's very personable, responsive, helpful, and flexible. He was willing to move around our pick-up to better suit our needs, within his abilities. This was greatly appreciated. He offered to give us a ride to the light rail after returning the RV. And he had great suggestions for us during our trip that helped save us time and money. We had a great time on our first RV adventure in his RV, "Miles of Smiles". Vehicle AC is being fixed, it didn't bother us. Camper AC worked great on the generator or electric hookup. We couldn't get the shower water heater to work, but we preferred the campground showers anyways. Everything else worked great on the RV. Lots of fridge/freezer space. Stove and microwave worked well as well as the propane grill if you encounter a burn ban. LOVED the Space you got with the slide out, the awning was really fun, the bunk above the cab was loved by our kids, the TV/DVD was needed at the end of a long day!, and all the storage was excellent. This was very comfortable and enjoyable ride for our 4 day adventure in Olympic and the North Cascades! Thanks so much Chris. We appreciate you!

Kathryn S. - Jul 2025

This was a three night trip for us, Chris was easy to deal with, he showed everything we needed to know about the rig on first inspection, it was easy to drive and maneuver and great fuel mileage. Everything was functional except the electric hot water heater didn’t seem to work but the propane hot water did and only took a few minutes to get hot. We were on full hookup at a state park so we didn’t use the generator although it worked if needed. Return also went smoothly just texted my ETA and Chris was there to meet us. Also it was nice that I didn’t have to add the small amount of propane that we had used, it was basically still full just used for the refrigerator when we were on the road and for the water heater, we used our own barbecue and hot plate for cooking but the propane stove did work if needed. Overall a good experience.

On RVezy, peer-to-peer pricing typically runs about $90 to $200 per night for travel trailers and campervans, and $175 to $375 per night for larger Class A and Class C motorhomes. Because hosts set their own rates, you will find cheap RV rental Lynnwood options on weekdays and in the shoulder months of April, May, and October when Puget Sound traffic eases. Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Lynnwood, Washington?

Good news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Lynnwood. Washington State only requires a Commercial Driver License (CDL) for vehicles over 26,001 pounds used commercially, and recreational vehicle operators are specifically exempt for personal travel, according to the Washington State Department of Licensing. You'll need to be 25 or older to book on RVezy, and your ID is verified securely through the platform during checkout. Visiting from abroad? An International Driving Permit paired with your home license keeps you covered. Most first-timers are pleasantly surprised by how simple the paperwork actually is for a Washington RV trip.

What is the cancellation policy if my Lynnwood RV trip plans change?

Booking is low-risk because RVezy (not individual hosts) sets the cancellation policy for every reservation, including a money-back grace period right after you book. The policy is designed to accommodate changes, with additional flexibility for unforeseen events, which matters in a region that can see occasional winter storms and Cascade snow closures. You will see the exact terms during checkout before you pay. Book early to lock in the best rigs for peak Pacific Northwest summer, knowing your reservation has cushion built in if life happens between now and your trip.

Can the RV be delivered to me in Lynnwood?

When is the best time of year for a Lynnwood RV trip?

July through early September is the sweet spot for a Lynnwood RV trip, when daytime highs land between 70 and 76°F, rainfall drops to its lowest (often under 1.5 inches per month), and the Cascades open up for high-elevation camping. June and late September are excellent shoulder-season picks with smaller crowds and lower rates, expect highs in the mid-60s and a few showers. Winter rentals are absolutely possible too, with mild lowland temperatures usually in the high 30s to mid 40s, just choose a rig with a furnace and ask the host about heated tanks. Pro tip: aim for an August departure to catch peak Mount Rainier wildflower season.

I've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay renting in Lynnwood?

First time renting an RV? You're in great hands. Every RVezy host provides a hands-on orientation at pickup, walking you through driving tips, slide-outs, the generator, water systems, and dump procedures before you ever pull onto Highway 99. Many Lynnwood hosts also offer delivery, so you can skip driving entirely through the I-5/I-405 interchange and start your trip already parked at the campground. You can message any host with questions before booking, and 24/7 roadside assistance rides along the whole way. Pro tip: pick a Class C motorhome or campervan rental Lynnwood for your first trip, they drive much like a large van and are perfect for tackling US-2 toward Stevens Pass.

What happens if something goes wrong with the RV during my trip?

You're never alone on the road. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance for flats, jump-starts, lockouts, towing, and mechanical issues, whether you're parked in downtown Lynnwood or stranded on a forest road near Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Your host is also just a message away through the RVezy app for quick questions about appliances or systems, and RVezy's customer support team is available before, during, and after your trip. Cell coverage is solid throughout the Lynnwood metro area and most of I-5, US-2, and I-90 corridors, so help is reachable. Pro tip: snap a few photos at pickup, it makes any conversation about damage or issues quick and clear.

Can I take my Lynnwood RV rental into Canada or other states?

Cross-state travel is generally welcome: an Oregon coast loop or an Idaho panhandle adventure are popular RV road trip from Lynnwood routes, just confirm with the host since some prefer to keep their rig regional. Canada trips (think Vancouver, Whistler, or the Okanagan) are sometimes allowed with host approval and proper insurance arrangements, so message before booking to confirm. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because the protection plan and insurance do not extend there. From Lynnwood you are only about 110 miles to the Peace Arch border crossing, making BC one of the most rewarding international RV adventures available from the Seattle area.

How much should I budget for fuel on a Lynnwood RV trip?

Fuel is the biggest variable in your budget, but it's easy to plan for. Washington gas prices typically run higher than the national average, often $4.20 to $4.80 per gallon in the Lynnwood/Seattle metro area. Expect 8 to 10 MPG for Class A motorhomes, 10 to 14 MPG for Class C, and 18 to 22 MPG for Class B campervan rental Lynnwood options or smaller travel trailer setups. A 250-mile round trip to Mount Rainier in a Class C will run roughly $90 to $120 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up in Lynnwood or Everett before heading east on US-2, gas stations get sparser and pricier once you pass Sultan.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

How far in advance should I book a campground near Lynnwood?

For summer weekends, book Washington State Parks the moment your dates are set, the reservation window opens nine months ahead through washington.goingtocamp.com, and waterfront sites at places like Deception Pass, Kayak Point, and Wenberg fill within hours. Private parks like Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell and North Sound RV Park in Lynnwood typically need 2 to 3 months of lead time for peak summer. National forest campgrounds in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie open reservations at recreation.gov six months out. Pro tip: midweek arrivals (Sunday through Wednesday) often have same-week availability even in July, perfect for a spontaneous family RV trip Lynnwood getaway.
parks.wa.gov/passes-permits/reservations/making-reservations

What are driving conditions like around Lynnwood for an RV?

Lynnwood sits at the I-5/I-405 junction, so plan around traffic rather than terrain. Weekday rush hours (7 to 9 AM and 3 to 7 PM) on I-5 toward Seattle can crawl, so aim for mid-morning or post-dinner departures. Roads are otherwise excellent: flat through the Puget Sound lowlands, with a steady climb on US-2 over Stevens Pass (4,061 feet) and I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass (3,022 feet). Watch for low-clearance reminders in downtown Seattle if you head south; most RVs clear standard interstates fine. Winter travelers should check WSDOT for mountain pass conditions. The Edmonds-Kingston ferry, just a few miles west, is RV-friendly and skips Seattle traffic entirely.
wsdot.com/travel/real-time/mountainpasses

What amenities can I expect at campgrounds near Lynnwood?

Campgrounds near Lynnwood range from full-service to rustic, giving you flexibility for any rig. Private parks like Lake Pleasant RV Park and North Sound RV Park offer full hookups (30/50-amp electric, water, sewer), Wi-Fi, laundry, and dump stations onsite. Washington State Parks like Deception Pass and Wenberg typically provide water and electric (no sewer at the site) plus shared dump stations and potable water fill stations. Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest campgrounds are usually dry camping with vault toilets and a community water spigot. Pro tip: the closest public dump station to downtown Lynnwood is at Smokey Point Rest Area off I-5 north, super convenient on your way back to drop off the rental.
parks.wa.gov/find-activity/activity-search/camping

What is typically included inside a Lynnwood RV rental?

Lynnwood RV rentals come ready for adventure. Expect a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), a private bathroom with shower and toilet, sleeping for 2 to 8 people depending on the rig, climate control (furnace and air conditioning), and seatbelts for everyone riding. Most listings include a TV, and many hosts add Wi-Fi hotspots, generators, solar packages, and outdoor speakers. Linens, kitchenware, and basic camping gear are typically provided or available as add-ons, so check the listing amenities section. For cool, damp Pacific Northwest evenings near Puget Sound, confirm the rig has a working furnace; you will appreciate it on misty mornings at Kayak Point or chilly nights near Mount Rainier.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Lynnwood%2C%20Washington

What add-ons and pickup options are available when I rent an RV in Lynnwood?

Hosts in Lynnwood offer a range of useful add-ons: bedding and linen packages ($25 to $75), camping kits with chairs and a table ($25 to $50), generators ($25 to $50/day), portable Wi-Fi, bike racks, kayaks, BBQs, and pet kits. Pickup is usually at the host's home in the Lynnwood, Edmonds, or Mountlake Terrace area, and many also offer paid delivery to your campground or driveway anywhere in Snohomish or King County. Mileage policies vary by host, typically 100 to 150 free miles per day with overage at $0.25 to $0.50/mile, and unlimited mileage upgrades are often available. Bundling add-ons during booking is usually cheaper than adding them at pickup.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is straightforward and secure: you pay the full booking through the RVezy platform with a credit card at checkout, never directly to the host. A refundable security deposit is held separately before your trip (typical range $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV's value), and it is released after dropoff once the host confirms the rig came back in good condition. Take date-stamped photos and a quick walkthrough video at both pickup and dropoff: it is the single best way to keep your deposit return smooth and avoid disputes. Keep all communication inside the RVezy app so there is a clear record if any question comes up later.

Can I rent an RV in Lynnwood during the winter?

Yes, winter RV rental in Lynnwood is absolutely doable and can be a magical way to see the Pacific Northwest in its quiet season. Lowland temperatures usually stay in the high 30s to mid 40s with rain rather than snow, so most RVs handle it fine, just pick a rig with a furnace and ask the host about heated holding tanks if you're heading toward Stevens Pass, Snoqualmie Pass, or Mount Baker for skiing. Many hosts offer winter discounts of 20 to 30 percent. Pro tip: pair an RV with a Sno-Park permit (required Nov 1 through March 31) and you've got an affordable basecamp for snowshoeing, tubing, and cozy evenings under heavy Cascade snow.
