What a great experience! The vehicle was well equipped, immaculate, functioned perfect. The communication with Frank was clear and he was always immediately available. What a pleasure!

Del Mar Fairgrounds, CA, US
Reaching the San Diego County Fair by RV is easy because the Del Mar Fairgrounds sits right off Interstate 5, about 20 miles north of downtown San Diego. Drivers coming from Los Angeles and Orange County simply head south on I-5 along the coast, while travelers from inland areas can connect via State Route 56 or Interstate 15 to State Route 56 and then I-5. Take the Via de la Valle exit and head west toward the ocean, then turn left onto Jimmy Durante Boulevard, where the main parking entrance appears on your right at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. Traffic builds on fair days, especially on weekends and around concerts, so plan to arrive early in the day for an easier approach. Larger rigs are often happiest staying parked at a nearby campground and using the fair's off-site shuttle lots, such as the one at Del Mar Horsepark, or the Coaster and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains to nearby Solana Beach station. Either way, you will roll into the heart of the fair relaxed and ready for fun.
