This period offers the most pleasant weather for outdoor activities and has the clearest skies, particularly in August. Shoulder seasons in late May and early September are excellent for RV travelers seeking fewer crowds while still enjoying good weather. This 4.4 kilometer historic hiking trail follows a Way of the Cross laid out in 1740, passing through three historic chapels dating back to the 18th century. The summit offers scenic views of Lac des Deux Montagnes and is among the park's most popular activities.
This approximately 11-kilometer out-and-back trail takes visitors through extensive marshlands on a stone dust surface with boardwalks and observation towers, offering excellent opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife observation including herons and waterfowl. The flat, accessible design makes it ideal for families and visitors of varying abilities.
A 6.7 kilometer hike with moderate terrain and elevation gain through forest with some steep sections, popular with trail runners. The trail is forest-covered throughout, so the summit offers limited panoramic views but provides a more challenging adventure for hikers seeking a workout.
The park features a supervised sand beach on Lac des Deux Montagnes with opportunities for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and pedal boating. Equipment rentals are available through the park's recreation center.
The park offers dedicated cycling and mountain biking trails suitable for various skill levels, with bike rentals available. Routes range from gentle paths along the lake to more technical trails through the forest.
The park offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking on designated trails during the cooler months. Winter activities are available outside the main camping season and require properly winterized RV facilities.
