Camping Lac des Pins is a large family campground in Franklin, Quebec, in the Montérégie region about an hour from Montreal. The property offers 1,166 tent and RV sites across unserviced, water-and-electricity, and full-hookup (water, electricity, sewer) tiers, set around two artificial lakes. On-site amenities include two swimming pools, a wading pool and water play area with inflatable Wibit structures, mini-golf, tennis and basketball courts, beach volleyball, an arcade, a movie and show venue, laundry facilities, an ice cream shop, a restaurant, and a general store. Leashed dogs (maximum two per site) are welcome under the campground's pet policy, though not permitted at the lakes, water play areas, or pools. Open from mid-May through October 1, Camping Lac des Pins makes an activity-packed basecamp for exploring the Montérégie countryside, including the nearby Parc Safari.
