Port Burwell Provincial Park is located approximately 1 hour from London, Ontario and approximately 200 kilometers (125 miles) from Toronto via Highway 403. The nearest major airport is Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), about 3 hours away by vehicle. Highway 6 provides direct access to the park. Standard RV sizes are accommodated, though vehicles longer than 32 feet are not permitted.

The best months for RV camping are July and August, when daytime temperatures reach the mid-to-upper 70s Fahrenheit and water temperatures peak for swimming. June through September offer warm weather and favorable lake conditions for beach recreation and boating. May and early October provide pleasant shoulder-season camping with fewer crowds, though mornings and evenings are cooler. The park closes to camping from November through April.
