The best time to visit Rainbow Falls Provincial Park is July and August, when daytime temperatures reach 16-18°C and lake water is warmest for swimming and water sports. September offers beautiful fall colors and fewer crowds, though Whitesand Lake campground closes by mid-September while Rossport stays open through October for shoulder-season camping. The park closes seasonally from October through May for winter maintenance. RV travelers should plan for the May 15 opening and confirm which campground suits their schedule, as operating dates vary between locations.

Scott and Leia were great. The drop off was right on time and the trailer was set up in minutes. Everything was exactly as expected. Maybe some wine glasses could be added but that is not a big deal. Would rent again in a heartbeat !!
