Campgrounds and RV parks near Paquetville, NB

Paquetville sits inland on the Acadian Peninsula in northeastern New Brunswick, at the intersection of Routes 340, 135, and 350. It is a francophone community that, since 2023, has been part of the town of Hautes-Terres, and it functions as a quiet base for RV travellers exploring the peninsula's beaches, fishing villages, and Chaleur Bay coastline. The closest campgrounds are a short drive from the village and lean toward small, family-run parks rather than large resort operations. Camping and Motel Colibri and Maison Touristique Dugas Camping serve travellers who want to stay near Paquetville itself, while Camping Colibri sur Mer, Motel and Camping Baie Des Chaleurs Ltd, and Camping Plage Val-Comeau put RVs within reach of the coast. From Paquetville, day trips reach Caraquet, Shippagan, Grande-Anse, and the tip of Miscou Island. The Acadian Coastal Drive links these communities and passes lighthouses, seafood shacks, and long stretches of beach on the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Waterfront and full-hookup sites go first, so reserve as early in the year as possible for July and August stays. For New Brunswick provincial parks, reservations run through the Parks NB system at parcsnbparks.ca. Seasonal sites open first in mid-January, followed by nightly reservations in early to mid February. A non-refundable reservation fee applies per campsite. Parks Canada sites, useful if the trip extends to Kouchibouguac National Park, are booked separately through the Parks Canada reservation service, which typically opens New Brunswick campgrounds in early February for the coming summer.
