Give this a go if you’re looking for something different for a getaway! Great trip and great communication from our host.

A slight delay on getting away but from then on in the experience was exactly what I was looking for and suited our needs. The van was stocked with everything one needed and more. The only items required were food, clothing and our choice to bring an umbrella. The bed was extremely comfortable. The host was very accommodating and communication easy. Pick up was easy as well as drop off. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a camper van to get away.

What's the cancellation policy if my West Hants trip plans change?

Plans change, and RVezy has you covered with a standardized cancellation policy that applies to every booking, not one set by individual hosts. After booking you have a short grace period for a full refund, and after that, refund amounts depend on how far ahead of pickup you cancel. RVezy also has guidance for unexpected events like Atlantic Canada storms that may disrupt travel to the Bay of Fundy region. If a host cancels, you'll receive a refund or travel credit. Pro tip: if a tropical storm is forecast, contact RVezy support early, the team is available before, during, and after every trip to help sort options.

What are driving conditions like around West Hants?

West Hants is one of the easier RV driving regions in Nova Scotia. Highway 101 is a smooth divided highway connecting Halifax to the Annapolis Valley right through Windsor, with gentle grades and clearly marked exits, great for first-time RV drivers. Secondary roads like Highway 14 toward Chester and Highway 215 along the Hants Shore are narrower and winding but very scenic. Watch for sudden fog rolling off the Minas Basin in late spring and early summer, and slow down for moose and deer on dawn and dusk drives in rural Vaughan and Three Mile Plains. Winter driving (December to March) brings snow and ice, so most RV rentals run May through October. Pro tip: avoid downtown Windsor's narrow Water Street with bigger rigs and park at the Causeway lot instead.
