Campgrounds and RV parks near Blyth, ON

Blyth is a small village in Huron County, southwestern Ontario, sitting at the intersection of Huron County Road 4 and Huron County Road 25. The village lies roughly 24 km inland from Lake Huron, which puts RV travellers within a short drive of both inland countryside campgrounds and the Huron shoreline. The village itself punches above its weight for visitor traffic. Blyth draws steady summer crowds to its professional theatre, destination craft brewery, and municipal campground. That means summer weekends, festival dates, and long weekends drive heavy demand across nearby private parks. Closest options for RV renters include Family Paradise Campground and Auburn Riverside Retreat on the inland side, Conestoga Family Campgrounds to the southeast toward the Grand River watershed, and Woodland Lake Camp and RV Resort and Shelter Valley Campground for travellers willing to drive a little farther. Most private parks in the area cater to trailers and motorhomes with a mix of serviced and unserviced sites.

Private campgrounds near Blyth take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Family Paradise Campground, Conestoga Family Campgrounds, Auburn Riverside Retreat, Woodland Lake Camp and RV Resort, and Shelter Valley Campground all accept advance bookings. Seasonal sites at these parks are often held by returning campers, so transient RV inventory can be limited on peak weekends. For nearby provincial parks such as Point Farms, bookings go through Ontario Parks. Reservations are accepted up to five months in advance of the arrival date; for example, you can book January 15 for an arrival date of June 15. The reservation window opens at 7 a.m. ET, five months in advance of the start date. For festival weekends in Blyth, aim to book eight to twelve weeks out at private parks.
