Campgrounds and RV parks near Nipissing 10, ON

Nipissing 10 is the main reserve of Nipissing First Nation, located on the north shore of Lake Nipissing between the City of North Bay and the Municipality of West Nipissing in northeastern Ontario. The reserve stretches across a broad rural land base, putting RV travellers within easy reach of Lake Nipissing beaches, the Sturgeon River, and a mix of private and provincial campgrounds. North Bay functions as the regional supply hub for groceries, fuel, and marine services. Campground options in the area cover the full range. Private RV parks near the water include Glenrock Cottages and Trailer Park, Sturgeon Falls KOA Holiday, Champlain Tent Trailer and RV Park, and Fairview Park Camping & Marina. For a provincial-park experience with electrical and non-electrical sites, Restoule Provincial Park sits south of Lake Nipissing off Highway 534, about 45 minutes from the north-shore area. Lake Nipissing is known for muskie, walleye, northern pike, and bass fishing, which shapes much of the local camping culture.

Ontario Parks handles reservations for Restoule Provincial Park through its central booking system. Campsite-specific reservations open up to five months in advance of the arrival date, either online at the Ontario Parks reservation site or by phone at 1-800-ONT-PARK. Backcountry sites on Stormy Lake and the Restoule River can be reserved online or claimed first-come, first-served at the park office on arrival. Seasonal campsites at Restoule, which allow a party to hold the same site for the entire summer, must be applied for between October 1 and March 31 for the following season. Private campgrounds such as Sturgeon Falls KOA Holiday, Glenrock Cottages and Trailer Park, Champlain Tent Trailer and RV Park, and Fairview Park Camping & Marina take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone.
