5 stars hosts! Kyle and Connie are fantastic RV hosts. The Rv is set up the same as you would get with a 5 star Airbnb. Everything you need for an adventure. It is in fantastic condition in and out. very safe and drives like a Cadillac. Small enough for easy travel and big enough for space watching a movie on a rainy night. Kyle took his time with explaining all the functions on the Rv. Everything is labeled and easy to use. The onboard generator is very convenient! Thanks for trusting us with your beautiful RV

How to book a campground near Summerside

Provincial park sites at Linkletter and Cabot Beach are reserved through the PEI Provincial Parks system at peiprovincialparks.ca. Reservations open in mid-April on a set launch date at 9:00 a.m. Atlantic Time, and payment is charged in full at booking. Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the 2:00 p.m. check-in are refunded minus transaction fees, and the system operates under a no-refunds policy for early departures other than severe weather warnings. Private campgrounds handle their own bookings. The Borden / Summerside KOA Journey books through the KOA reservation system, while Twin Shores Camping Area and Crystal Beach Campground and Cottages book directly through their own websites. For summer weekends and any stay in the last three weeks of July, reserving several months out is advised.

What to expect on-site

Serviced RV sites with electric, water, and sewer hookups are available at the private resorts, and at the provincial parks in the form of two-way and three-way sites. Linkletter Provincial Park has a mix of unserviced, two-way, and three-way sites, wifi, a kitchen shelter, showers, a laundromat, and a dump station, with an unsupervised bay beach on site. Cabot Beach Provincial Park offers 104 sites, a supervised beach, laundromat, playground, and kitchen shelter. Private resorts run larger. Twin Shores Camping Area has nearly 700 sites with three beaches, a general store, café, arcade, playground, fitness centre, and a beach shuttle. The Borden / Summerside KOA Journey adds a heated pool, jumping pillow, gem mining, games room, and a music hall with seasonal local shows. Expect wind on exposed coastal sites, mosquitoes in warm calm weather, and cool nights even in July. Pets are permitted on leash at all five campgrounds.
