Campgrounds and RV parks near Stamps, AR

Stamps sits in Lafayette County in southwest Arkansas, within the West Gulf Coastal Plain of pine forests, small lakes, and slow rivers. The town itself has no campground, but several state parks and private RV parks lie within an hour's drive, making it a practical base for anglers, birders, and families exploring the Magnolia, Hope, and Texarkana corridor. The closest public camping is Logoly State Park north of Magnolia, Arkansas' first environmental education state park, set in old-growth forest with mineral springs. White Oak Lake State Park, roughly an hour northeast near Bluff City, offers lakeside sites under tall pines. Millwood State Park to the northwest anchors a 29,260-acre fishing lake, and Texarkana KOA Journey sits west along the Interstate 30 corridor for travelers passing through. Sterling Crest RV Park provides a nearer private option for RV travelers who want full hookups without driving to a state park. Together these sites cover primitive tent camping, partial-hookup state park loops, and full-service private parks.

Arkansas State Park campsites at Logoly, White Oak Lake, and Millwood are booked through the official Arkansas State Parks reservation system online or by phone. Individual reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance of the arrival date, and a credit or debit card is required at booking. Weekend stays require a two-night minimum, and holiday weekends require three nights. Stays are limited to 14 nights within any 30-day period, with extensions considered by the park superintendent. Class AAA sites with full hookups at Millwood are limited and go quickly for weekends, so reserve early. Texarkana KOA Journey and Sterling Crest RV Park are booked directly through the operator, which is often the faster path for last-minute RV trips or overnight stops along Interstate 30.
