Campgrounds and RV parks near Taylor, AR

Taylor sits in Columbia County in southwestern Arkansas, close to the Louisiana state line. The area is part of the Gulf Coastal Plain, a rolling landscape of pine forest, hardwood bottoms, and small lakes. RV travellers use Taylor as a quiet base for exploring south Arkansas and the Shreveport-Bossier area of north Louisiana, both within an easy drive. The closest public campground is Logoly State Park, which has six group tent sites with no hookups, plus a bathhouse, pavilion, trails, and a visitor centre. Because Logoly is oriented to tent and educational-group camping rather than full-hookup RV sites, most motorhome and travel-trailer renters combine a Logoly day visit with a stay at a private RV park. Cinnamon Creek RV Park and Southern Living Mobile Home Park - RV Division offer options closer to town. Across the state line, Cypress Black Bayou Recreation and Water Conservation District near Benton, Louisiana provides a full-service lakeside campground with hookups, cabins, and a swim beach. Valhalla Motorcycle Camp near Homer, Louisiana rounds out the nearby list for riders and event-based groups.

Arkansas State Parks reservations may be made up to twelve months in advance of the scheduled arrival date, online, by phone, or at a park visitor centre. Logoly's six group tent sites have no hookups, educational groups have preference and must reserve in advance, and individuals may use campsites on a first-come basis but must vacate for groups, so RV renters usually plan hookups elsewhere. Cypress Black Bayou accepts reservations through its own park office and is popular in warmer months, so book RV sites well ahead for holiday weekends. Private options such as Cinnamon Creek RV Park, Southern Living Mobile Home Park - RV Division, and Valhalla Motorcycle Camp are booked directly with the operator. Confirm rig-length limits, hookup type, and any pet or generator rules when reserving.
