Silverwood Lake is the main outdoor draw, with swimming beaches, designated boating and waterskiing areas, fishing, and hiking trails. The Pacific Crest Trail passes through the park and is open in that segment for foot and horse traffic. Mojave Narrows Regional Park in Victorville adds two fishing lakes (Horseshoe and Pelican) stocked with trout in cooler months and catfish in summer, an 18-hole disc golf course, equestrian trails, a playground, and a zero-depth splash pad. The park is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
