Campgrounds and RV parks near Beverly Hills, FL

Beverly Hills is an unincorporated community in Citrus County on Florida's Nature Coast, roughly ten miles east of the Gulf of Mexico and the town of Crystal River. The area sits between the Withlacoochee State Forest to the east and a chain of spring-fed rivers to the west, giving RV travelers quick access to both pine flatwoods and coastal springs. RV parks in the immediate area range from full-hookup resort-style properties to quieter wooded parks. Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, which sits about fifteen minutes west, protects Three Sisters Springs and other warm-water refuges where the spring water stays near 72 degrees Fahrenheit year-round and draws hundreds of wintering manatees. Named campgrounds within a short drive include Sandy Oaks RV Resort, Sun Retreats Crystal River, Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park, Crystal River KOA, and Suncoast Crystal River RV Resort. Together they cover most trip styles, from families looking for pools and organized activities to travelers who want a base for paddling, fishing, and wildlife viewing.

Private RV parks near Beverly Hills, including Sandy Oaks RV Resort, Sun Retreats Crystal River, Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park, Crystal River KOA, and Suncoast Crystal River RV Resort, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Winter sites often book several months out, and many parks require multi-night minimums during manatee season and holidays. For public land, Florida State Parks use a central reservation system with a rolling window that opens 11 months in advance of arrival for Florida residents and 10 months in advance for non-residents. New inventory opens daily at 8 a.m. Eastern time. Withlacoochee State Forest campgrounds are booked separately through the Florida Forest Service. For Three Sisters Springs itself, tickets to the land-based center are handled through the City of Crystal River, and camping is not offered on the refuge.
