Campgrounds and RV parks near Crescent Beach, FL

Crescent Beach sits on Anastasia Island in St. Johns County, along Florida A1A about 15 miles south of downtown St. Augustine. The area gives RV travelers direct Atlantic access, a short drive to the nation's oldest city, and quick connections to Interstate 95 via State Road 206. Camping options range from oceanfront RV resorts to inland state park sites along tidal creeks. Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort sits on the coastline at 4850 A1A South with full-hookup RV sites on concrete pads and park model rentals, two swimming pools, and private beach access. Pepper Tree Luxury RV Resort and Ocean Grove RV Resort offer additional full-hookup options nearby. Inland along US 1, Pellicer Creek Campground features 30 full hook-up campsites, each with water, sewer, WiFi, and 20/30/50 amp electric service, with most sites back-in and averaging 45 by 45 feet. For a state park experience, Faver-Dykes State Park borders Pellicer Creek and offers 30 shaded campsites in a hardwood hammock. The mix suits families wanting beach time, anglers, and travelers using the coast as a base for St. Augustine day trips.

Reservation systems differ by property. Florida State Parks use a central reservation portal. Reservations for Faver-Dykes State Park can be made online up to 11 months in advance, and the campground is open year-round. A nonrefundable reservation fee applies, and a nightly utility fee covers water, electricity, and sewer for RV units. Private resorts handle booking directly with the operator. Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort typically arranges reservations by phone with a dedicated reservationist rather than through third-party portals. Pellicer Creek Campground accepts only monthly reservations, making it suited to snowbirds and longer stays rather than short weekend trips. For winter and holiday weekends, secure sites several months out; state park sites at the 11-month window are often claimed within minutes of release.
