Campgrounds and RV parks near Lake Hamilton, FL

Lake Hamilton sits in Polk County in Central Florida, roughly midway between Tampa and Orlando along the US-27 corridor. The town takes its name from the three-lake chain (North, Middle, and Little Lake Hamilton) that shapes local recreation, and it puts RV travelers within a short drive of theme parks, citrus country, and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. RV parks in the area lean toward full-hookup private resorts built for both snowbirds and short-stay families. Paradise Island RV Park is located at 32000 Highway 27 in Haines City on the shores of Middle Lake Hamilton, with direct lake and canal access, a dock for fishing, and full-hookup sites that include water, sewer, and electric connections designed to accommodate a variety of RV sizes. Royal Oaks RV, East Haven RV Park, Central Park MH and RV Resort, and Central Park round out the closest options, most offering paved pads and long-stay monthly rates. State-park camping is available a short drive east at Lake Kissimmee State Park, giving renters a public-land alternative to the private resorts along the highway.

Private RV parks near Lake Hamilton, including Paradise Island RV Park, Royal Oaks RV, East Haven RV Park, Central Park MH and RV Resort, and Central Park, book directly through the park by phone or online. For state-park camping at Lake Kissimmee State Park east of Lake Wales, reservations run through the Florida State Parks system.
