Expect full hookups, laundry, and pools at most private resorts, and a more social, snowbird-heavy vibe in winter. Big rigs fit at Palm Beach Motorcoach Resort and most sites at the closer commercial parks, but always confirm site dimensions before arrival. At The River - Jonathan Dickinson State Park, sites include water and electric with picnic tables and grills or fire rings, and restrooms have hot showers and laundry facilities. The park's dump station is located at Pine Grove Campground, about 4 miles from the River Campground near the park entrance. Cell service is generally strong across Riviera Beach and Jupiter but can be spotty inside the state park. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent for summer evenings, and a surge protector for the region's frequent thunderstorms.
