Kentucky State Parks use ReserveAmerica for online bookings. Reservations at John James Audubon State Park must be made at least one day ahead of arrival and can be made up to 12 months in advance. There is a one-night minimum stay during the week at all parks and a two-night minimum on peak-season weekends. Parks prohibit the importation of firewood from outside Kentucky to help prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borer, and firewood is available for sale in state park campgrounds. County and private campgrounds book directly. Moffit Lake Recreation Area is reserved through Union County, while Diamond Lake Resort Campground, Horseshoe Acres Campground, and Riverview RV Park take reservations through their own websites or by phone.
