Campgrounds and RV parks near Fulton, MO

Fulton sits in Callaway County in central Missouri, about 25 miles east of Columbia and roughly 100 miles west of St. Louis along I-70. The town is best known as the site where Winston Churchill delivered his "Iron Curtain" speech at Westminster College after World War II, and the surrounding rolling hills, farmland, and Missouri River corridor make it a workable base for RV travellers exploring central Missouri. Campground options in the immediate Fulton area lean toward small, family-run RV parks rather than large resorts. Red Maples Community and Pine Grove Village Community offer quieter, residential-style stays close to town, while Cedar Creek Resort and RV Park adds on-site fishing water and larger amenities. Osage Campground and More and Mari-Osa Campground sit farther south toward the Osage River, giving quicker access to water-based recreation. RVers typically use Fulton as a stopover between Kansas City and St. Louis or as a launch point for day trips to Columbia, the Lake of the Ozarks region, and the Missouri wine country around Hermann.

Private RV parks around Fulton, including Red Maples Community, Cedar Creek Resort and RV Park, Pine Grove Village Community, Osage Campground and More, and Mari-Osa Campground, take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. For summer weekends and holidays, book several weeks out; full-hookup sites at the more amenity-heavy parks turn over fastest.
