Campgrounds and RV parks near Lebanon, NH

Lebanon sits in the Upper Valley on the New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River, at the junction of I-89 and US Route 4. That location puts RV travelers within a short drive of campgrounds in two states, from lakefront sites in New Hampshire to state park and KOA options across the river in Vermont. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, downtown Lebanon, and the villages of Hanover, Quechee, and Woodstock are all reachable in under 30 minutes. The closest option is Mascoma Lake Campground by Modern America Campgrounds on US Route 4A in Lebanon, a family-oriented park with RV, cabin, tiny house, and tent sites, a private sandy beach, and access to five-mile-long Mascoma Lake. Across the Connecticut River in Vermont, Quechee State Park Camping sits along US Route 4 near Quechee Gorge, and Quechee / Pine Valley KOA Holiday on Woodstock Road in White River Junction rounds out the full-hookup choices. Rest N Nest Campground in East Thetford and Crescent Campsites give travelers additional Vermont-side options within a short highway hop.

Reservation systems differ by campground. Vermont State Parks offer three ways to reserve a site at Quechee State Park: online through the Vermont State Parks reservation website, the call center at 1-888-409-7579 Monday through Friday, or by contacting the park directly during the operating season. Camping reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance on a rolling daily basis, and same-day reservations are accepted until 2 p.m. Reservations made more than 7 days in advance require a two-night minimum, and one-night stays are allowed within 7 days of arrival, any day of the week. Private parks including Mascoma Lake Campground, Quechee / Pine Valley KOA Holiday, Rest N Nest Campground, and Crescent Campsites take bookings directly through their own websites or by phone, and cancellation windows vary, so read each policy before confirming.
