Campgrounds and RV parks near Springville, NY

Springville sits in the western foothills of the Allegheny Plateau in Erie County, roughly 30 miles south of Buffalo along US-219. The town serves as a practical staging point for RV travelers heading to southwestern New York's state parks, ski country, and the Cattaraugus Creek valley. Elevations in the surrounding hills run higher than the Lake Erie shoreline, which shapes both the camping season and the weather. The nearest private campgrounds cluster in the wooded hills and small lake country south and east of town. Allegany Mountain Members Resort, Three Valley Resort, Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales, Shamrock Pines Campground, and Beaver Meadow Family Campground offer full-hookup and partial-hookup RV sites, seasonal amenities, and family-oriented layouts typical of Western New York private parks. Public camping is a short drive away. Letchworth State Park lies to the east, and to the south is Allegany State Park, New York's largest state park, spanning roughly 65,000 acres near the Pennsylvania border. Between them, RV travelers have access to hundreds of additional sites, cabins, and cottages.

Public sites in the state parks are handled through the New York State Parks reservation system operated by ReserveAmerica. Reservations for tents, trailers, RVs, cabins, yurts, and cottages can be made online or by phone. The window opens nine months in advance of the arrival date, with sites released at 8AM on weekdays and 9AM on weekends during peak booking months, so summer weekends at Allegany and Letchworth should be locked in as early as possible. Private parks near Springville, including Allegany Mountain Members Resort, Three Valley Resort, Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales, Shamrock Pines Campground, and Beaver Meadow Family Campground, book directly through the operator by phone or website. Seasonal sites turn over slowly, so transient RV bookings are easier to secure midweek than on weekends.
