Campgrounds and RV parks near Roseboro, NC

Roseboro sits in Sampson County in the North Carolina Coastal Plain, roughly midway between Fayetteville and the Cape Fear River bay lakes. RV travelers use it as a quiet base for lake days at White Lake, state park visits, and Interstate 95 stopovers, with most nearby campgrounds within a 30 to 45 minute drive. The closest full-service option is Fayetteville RV Resort and Cottages, off I-95, with big-rig pull-throughs, cottages, and resort amenities. To the east, Jones Lake State Park is located in Bladen County, 40 miles southeast of Fayetteville, offering wooded state-park camping with a handful of RV hookup sites on Carolina bays, elliptical depressions along the Atlantic coast. White Lake, about half an hour south, clusters several private parks around its spring-fed shoreline, including White Lake Motel and Campground and Gilligans Island Resort. Farther out, Sandy Ridge Campground and RV Resort rounds out the options for travelers wanting a quieter rural setting.

State park sites at Jones Lake are reserved through the North Carolina State Parks reservation system on ReserveAmerica. Each of the 20 wooded campsites at Jones Lake State Park is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring or grill. Drinking water and a bathhouse are located nearby. Six campsites have full RV hookups for electric, water, and sewer. The campground is open year-round, with reservations available up to 11 months in advance. Reservations are suggested, but campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis if not reserved. Private parks such as Fayetteville RV Resort and Cottages, Gilligans Island Resort, White Lake Motel and Campground, and Sandy Ridge Campground and RV Resort book directly through their own websites, with summer holiday weekends often carrying a two-night minimum and selling out weeks in advance.
