Charleston is the primary draw. Day trips from a Sangaree base cover the downtown historic district, Fort Sumter tours from Liberty Square, the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point, and beach days on Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and Folly Beach. Boone Hall Plantation and Magnolia Plantation are within easy driving distance for families.
