Campgrounds and RV parks near Lake Lorelei, OH

Lake Lorelei is a private, gated lake community in Brown County, Ohio, near Fayetteville, with residential lots and small member-only lakes. Because the community itself is not open to the public, RV travelers base camp at public parks and private campgrounds in the surrounding southwest Ohio counties, most within a 30 to 45 minute drive. The closest public option is Stonelick State Park, a 1,058-acre park in Clermont County built around a 200-acre lake limited to electric motors. East Fork State Park Campground, one of Ohio's largest state park campgrounds, sits on the north shore of the 2,160-acre William H. Harsha Lake and offers hundreds of RV sites plus an equestrian loop. Cowan Lake State Park, northeast of Lake Lorelei near Wilmington, wraps around a 700-acre sailing and paddling lake and includes 21 fully equipped cabins. Private options round out the area. Beechwood Acres Camping Resort caters to families with amenity-heavy stays, and Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins offers river-oriented sites along the Little Miami corridor.

Ohio State Parks use a centralized system. Campsite reservations for Stonelick State Park, East Fork State Park Campground, and Cowan Lake State Park can be made up to six months in advance through ReserveOhio.com or by calling (866) 644-6727, while cabin reservations open up to twelve months out. Ohio does not charge a state park entrance fee. Walk-in registration is not available at Ohio State Parks; every site must be reserved in advance, though same-day online bookings are permitted when inventory exists. Weekend stays require a two-night minimum, and Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends require three nights. Private campgrounds such as Beechwood Acres Camping Resort and Morgan's Riverside Campground & Cabins use their own reservation systems and often accept shorter lead times, but summer weekends still book out weeks ahead.
