Camping near Mariemont, Ohio
Mariemont is a small village in Hamilton County on the east side of the Cincinnati metro, roughly ten miles from downtown along US-50. It sits just above the Little Miami River near the river's confluence with the Ohio, which puts RV travelers within easy reach of both riverfront campgrounds and the wooded parks of Greater Cincinnati. The Little Miami Scenic Trail terminates a short drive east of the village at the Beechmont Bridge Connector and ties into the Lunken Airport and Ohio River trails toward downtown.
Most camping options are private RV parks scattered around the metro rather than in the village itself. Tuckers Landing RV Park and Riverfront RV Park sit along the Ohio River east of the city, while Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage and Cincinnati Campsites serve travelers looking for a closer base to the urban core. Families heading to Kings Island often stage at Camp Cedar RV Resort in Mason, near the park entrance.
Ohio State Park campgrounds sit farther out. East Fork State Park is roughly a half-hour drive and offers electric and full-hookup sites, and Winton Woods, run by Great Parks of Hamilton County, is another common choice on the north side of the city.
Things to do near Mariemont
The Little Miami Scenic Trail is the headline outdoor draw. The paved rail-trail runs about 78 miles from Anderson Township near Cincinnati north to Springfield, and its southern terminus at the Beechmont Bridge Connector sits just east of Mariemont, tying into the Armleder and Lunken Airport trails and the wider CROWN urban loop. Riders can access it from the Avoca Trailhead on Wooster Pike, operated by Great Parks of Hamilton County.
The Little Miami River itself carries Ohio's first National and State Scenic River designation, with liveries upstream in Loveland and Morrow for canoe and kayak trips. Downtown Cincinnati draws families to the Cincinnati Zoo, the Museum Center at Union Terminal, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and Reds and Bengals games. Kings Island amusement park in Mason is a common day trip for RV families.

Peak camping season around Cincinnati runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, when private parks and Ohio State Parks fill on weekends. Spring is pleasant but wet: May is typically the rainiest month, averaging close to five inches of precipitation, and severe thunderstorms and tornadoes are most common from late spring into midsummer across southwest Ohio. High water on the Little Miami can also close riverside trail segments and low-lying campsites.
Summer is warm, humid, and busy. Daytime highs in July and August average in the mid-80s Fahrenheit, and campgrounds near Kings Island book heavily on holiday weekends. Early June and late August tend to be easier for reservations than July.
Fall is a strong shoulder season. September is the driest month, humidity drops, and foliage on the Little Miami corridor peaks in mid to late October. Winter camping is limited: many Ohio State Park campgrounds close loops or reduce available sites for the cold months, and several private RV parks in the area operate on shorter shoulder-season hours from November through March.

Highly recommend 15/10 rating here. Clean and ready to go upon the agreed time and extremely flexible for my rental return considering I hit a traffic jam for 4 hours. Will be renting again from him alone when my personal goes down.

What to expect
Sites near Mariemont range from full-hookup concrete pads at private RV resorts to gravel or grass electric sites at county and state parks. Cell service is generally reliable across the metro, and most private parks in the area offer Wi-Fi, laundry, and dump stations. Rig length is rarely an issue at the newer parks, though older county and state campgrounds may have tighter turns and shorter pads.
Expect humid summer nights, thunderstorms that can arrive quickly, and mosquitoes near river sites. Bring leveling blocks, as pads at some area campgrounds sit unevenly. Pets are welcome at most parks on a six-foot leash, and quiet hours are standard from about 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Mariemont itself is a National Historic Landmark village with a walkable square, a historic theater, and restaurants, all handy for a low-key evening off the campsite.
