Mannsville sits in Johnston County in south-central Oklahoma, within short driving distance of Lake Murray State Park, the largest concentration of developed camping in the region. Lake Murray State Park is Oklahoma's first and largest state park, consisting of 12,500 acres of forested, rolling hills around Lake Murray. The park entrance sits 3 miles east of I-35 at Exit 24 or Exit 29, roughly a half-hour drive west of Mannsville.
RV campers have several campgrounds to choose from inside the park, including ATV - Lake Murray State Park, Martins Landing - Lake Murray State Park, Rock Tower - Lake Murray State Park, Field Trial Area - Lake Murray State Park, and Marietta Landing - Lake Murray State Park. Across the park's nine campgrounds there are 321 RV sites and 165 tent sites available to reserve online. Some RV sites feature full hookups, with a variety of pull-through sites, and bath and shower houses. Six campgrounds are open 24 hours a day, and Elephant Rock, Cedar Cove, and Tipps Point are gated. A single scenic highway, SH-77S, loops around the lake and connects all of the camping areas, beaches, and trailheads.
Things to do near Mannsville
The lake is the main draw. Fishing, boating, and a variety of water sports are enjoyed on the 5,728 surface acres of Lake Murray. Families staying at Martins Landing - Lake Murray State Park or Marietta Landing - Lake Murray State Park can reach swim areas and boat ramps along the shoreline.

Had a great time on our trip and the owners were super responsive
ASHLEY M. - Jun 2023
If I could rate the experience more than 5 star I would. The communication was outstanding. Evan was in constant communication about pickup, checking in on the experience and checkout. We ended up getting upgraded to a different trailer which was fine with us since we didn’t need a toy hauler. Evan came back out twice. The first was because site only had 30 amp and needed an adapter. The second was because we needed propane and couldn’t get the stove to work. That was primary user error but he got it all rectified. The trailer was amazing, clean and had any and all amenities you would want. The renters are also very nice and friendly people. I would definitely rent from them in the future and highly recommend them.
