Oakland sits in Marshall County in southern Oklahoma, minutes from the north shore of Lake Texoma. Lake Texoma is the largest lake in capacity in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District and the twelfth largest in the United States, which makes it the dominant camping draw for RV travelers passing through the area.
