Private parks in the area, including Palmetto Shores RV Resort and Santee / Santee Lakes KOA Journey, take bookings on their own websites or through the KOA reservation system, with lakefront pull-throughs going first. Taw Caw Campground and Marina and Lake Marion Resort and Marina handle reservations by phone and online. For state park stays, campers with an existing reservation may go directly to their assigned site; the park ranger or campground host will check them in during patrols.
