Campgrounds and RV parks near Belle Meade, TN

Belle Meade is a small, affluent city on Nashville's west side, about nine miles from downtown and surrounded by the Metro Nashville park system. The city operates independently within Nashville, complete with its own regulations and city hall, and while predominantly residential it sits next to Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Percy Warner Park. RV travelers usually base out of commercial parks in the greater Nashville area and use Belle Meade as a quiet, tree-lined jumping-off point for the city. Most RV-friendly options sit east and south of downtown, within a 20 to 40 minute drive. Trinity RV Park and Campground, Nashville KOA Resort, Nashville RV Resort and Cabins, Two Rivers Campgrounds, and Elm Hill RV Resort all provide full hookups and are positioned for easy interstate access to Belle Meade, Broadway, and the Grand Ole Opry area. For a more outdoors-focused trip, J. Percy Priest Lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers about 15 minutes from downtown, offers fishing, boating, hiking, and lakeside camping within an easy drive of Belle Meade.

Reservation rules vary by operator. Private parks such as Trinity RV Park and Campground, Nashville KOA Resort, Nashville RV Resort and Cabins, Two Rivers Campgrounds, and Elm Hill RV Resort take bookings directly through their own websites or by phone, and sites near downtown fill early for CMA Fest, football weekends, and long summer weekends. Corps of Engineers campgrounds at J. Percy Priest Lake are reservable from spring to fall each year through Recreation.gov. Popular waterfront loops book out months ahead for holiday weekends. Tennessee State Parks accept advance reservations up to one year ahead through the state parks reservation portal, with a non-refundable advance reservation fee per campsite. The maximum stay is 14 days, extended to 28 days from December 1 through the end of February, after which the party must vacate the park for three consecutive nights before returning.
