Campgrounds and RV parks near Fairfield Glade, TN

Fairfield Glade sits on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee, roughly midway between Nashville and Knoxville off Interstate 40. The area is built around lakes, golf courses, and forested plateau terrain, and it functions as a practical base for exploring the wider Crossville region, Cumberland Mountain State Park, and the northern approaches to the Big South Fork. RV renters have several nearby options across different styles. Spring Lake RV Resort and Deer Run RV Resort focus on full-hookup sites suited to larger rigs, while Crossville / I-40 KOA Holiday offers a franchised, family-oriented layout close to the interstate for easy arrivals. Freedom Hills Campground and Paradise On The Mountain RV Park round out the local mix with smaller, quieter settings on the plateau. Elevations around Crossville sit near 1,750 feet, which keeps summer nights noticeably cooler than lower parts of Tennessee. That, combined with public golf, lake access on Byrd Lake, and easy interstate connections, makes the area a common overnight stop as well as a multi-night destination.

Private parks in the area, including Spring Lake RV Resort, Deer Run RV Resort, Crossville / I-40 KOA Holiday, Freedom Hills Campground, and Paradise On The Mountain RV Park, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. KOA locations can also be booked through the KOA reservation platform. Peak weekends between April and October fill fastest. For Cumberland Mountain State Park, reservations are handled through the Tennessee State Parks reservation system online or by phone. Advanced reservations may be made up to 1 year in advance, and a non-refundable Advanced Reservation Fee applies per campsite. Holiday weekends and October foliage weekends often sell out months out, so booking early is important.
