Campgrounds near Graysville, Tennessee
Graysville sits in Rhea County on the western edge of the Tennessee Valley, between Chattanooga to the south and the Cumberland Plateau to the west. The area gives RV travelers two very different landscapes within an hour's drive: the fishing bays and marinas of Chickamauga Lake on the Tennessee River, and the waterfalls, gorges, and hardwood forests of the plateau.
Most RV sites near Graysville cluster along Chickamauga Lake between Dayton and Harrison. Blue Water RV Resort in Dayton sits on the lake with full-hookup concrete pads and its own marina. Skull Island Campground occupies a small island in the lake near Harrison, and R and R RV Campground and Mountain Glen RV Park and Campground offer quieter inland alternatives.
Harrison Bay State Park, about 45 minutes south, anchors the region's public campground options and adds a state marina, a championship golf course, and long shoreline on Chickamauga Lake.
Things to do near Graysville
Chickamauga Lake is the main draw. Blue Water RV Resort has its own private boat ramp and marina onto one of the top-rated bass fisheries in the country, and Skull Island Campground puts campers on the water with a swim beach, shoreline fishing, and paddling access.
On the plateau side, Fall Creek Falls State Park is roughly a half-hour drive from Mountain Glen RV Park and Campground and holds one of the tallest waterfalls in the eastern United States, along with hiking, mountain biking, and a stocked fishing lake. Harrison Bay State Park adds the Bear Trace championship golf course, picnic pavilions, and a swimming area.
Downtown Chattanooga, with the Tennessee Aquarium and Lookout Mountain attractions, is about an hour south.

We opted for delivery and setup to the campsite which was great! When we arrived everything was set up and ready for us to move in. It was great to escape the heat at the event and have lunch and dinner at the camper. They were awesome to work with! We highly recommend them for a rental option!! We would definitely choose them again!!

So glad I chose to rent an rv for the first time this weekend, as it rained 2 of 3 days and nights. Communication was smooth, even when a strange fluke occurred and I accidently got locked out. Matt immediately drove out to the site with a spare. It seemed to be a malfunction in the mechanism which I'm sure they will be addressing soon. The camper was clean, well equipped and simple to operate. The bed was comfy and I am particular. So , I was , a happy camper.

Approach roads to lakeside and plateau campgrounds can be narrow with tight turns, and terrain at some sites is uneven. Following each campground's own driving directions rather than default GPS routing is worth the extra minutes for big rigs.
