Campgrounds and RV parks near Lakewood Park, TN

Lakewood Park is a small community in Coffee County, Tennessee, north of Manchester and just off Tennessee State Route 280. It sits roughly halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga, which puts a cluster of Middle Tennessee campgrounds within a short drive of the town. The closest public campground is Old Stone Fort State Park, on the Duck River just south in Manchester. The park's 782 acres protect an ancient Native American earthwork enclosure and include waterfalls, wooded trails, and a full-service campground. On nearby Normandy Reservoir, a TVA-managed lake in Coffee County, Cedar Point Campground and Barton Springs Campground sit on opposite banks and are both run by Go Camp Tennessee under a partnership agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority. Private options round out the area. The Broken Banjo RV Park and Crossing Creeks Farm add smaller, independently run sites for RV travelers who want hookups, a rural farm setting, or a shorter drive to Manchester restaurants and services.

Old Stone Fort State Park uses the Tennessee State Parks reservation system. Bookings can be made online or by calling central reservations at 888-TNPARKS, and advanced reservations are available up to one year in advance. A non-refundable advanced reservation fee applies per campsite, and most sites require a two-night minimum stay. The park office can also be reached directly for questions. Cedar Point Campground and Barton Springs Campground are managed by Go Camp Tennessee under an agreement with TVA, with online booking through their reservation platform during the mid-March to mid-November operating season. Both require a two-night minimum, and exceptions can be requested by calling the campground. Cancellation windows are strict at the state park: cancelling one day before arrival forfeits the first night's fees, and same-day cancellations of multi-night stays forfeit up to two nights. Private options such as The Broken Banjo RV Park and Crossing Creeks Farm are booked directly with the operator and follow their own policies.
